upComing Events



    We are putting a spring hockey team together for Bantam aged female hockey players (2002/2003). We will be practicing in April and competing in AAA Challenge in Brandon, MB and City of Bridges tournament in Saskatoon, SK. We will be practicing out of the Chief Denton George Memorial Multiplex in Ochapowace, SK.

Brent has taught power skating for over 10 years in Regina and around the province of Saskatchewan. He has been on the ice since he was a child. His love for the game of hockey, his success at a professional level and his enthusiasm in teaching makes him an extremely experienced, qualified and full-time certified power skating coach.

Brent has recently been appointed official  power skating coach for the Moose Jaw Warriors (WHL) and the Notre Dame Hounds.

In the last 10 years every camp that has been put on the website has been sold out!

 Brent is also the Martin Academy power skating coach and is also the official power skating coach for the South Sask Selects AAA hockey teams.

Born in Selkirk, Manitoba to parents from Peguis and Berens River First Nation, Alfie embarked on a pro hockey career by attending the residential school in Lebret where he played his last year of midget hockey, followed by playing for the Lebret Eagles junior A team of the SJHL.

He earned a scholarship to the university of Maine where he lead the league twice in wins and won the NCAA championship in 1999 where he was the tournament all-star team. In 1999 he signed a contract with the Vancouver Canucks where he made his NHL debut. 15 years of pro hockey and 3 championships in Europe add to the experience of this coach
